The Joggins Fossil Institute acknowledges that taking a family out and about to enjoy the wonders of nature, culture, science and education can be expensive, and not to say the least bit stressful on the odd occasion.
The team here at the Joggins Fossil Cliffs UNESCO World Heritage Site have devised a way to take some of the cost and a little of the stress out of the operation for families choosing to visit our site.
On Fridays throughout July and August, children aged K-12 get into the Joggins Fossil Centre Exhibition Gallery completely free of charge.*
We will have a program of activities** for children on Fridays, which will inspire and get them engaged with the site and our team can offer guidance to parents on how best to enjoy the site with your children in tow.

*Children will only be entitled to free admission into the Gallery if accompanying a family group. Group bookings for youth, such as summer camps, scouts etc will not be entitled to this discount. Children accompanying Guided Tours will have to pay the standard charge.
**There will be a small charge for actvities.
